I'm an undergraduate at the university of Louisville. I major in biology with a minor in spanish . I was on the spanish team in high school, and also received a biology scholarship to the university. I tutor my sister she is in the 7th grade, I help her with math and science. My other sister comes to me when she needs help in math , when there are problems she doesn't understand. I also help people in college who don't quite understand the given material and I break it down and take time to go over it and teach it and a way they might understand.

I attended Thomas More College on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Environmental Science. Presently, I am pursuing a Master of Biology degree at the University of Cincinnati, where I hold a University Graduate Scholarship as well as a Yates Scholarship. I worked as a private tutor from 2006 through 2011, and in 2008 and 2009 I also tutored through Thomas More College. Currently, I am an instructor for undergraduate biology labs at the University of Cincinnati. I have worked with elementary, high school, and college-aged students, providing instruction in subjects ranging from English to biology. I am comfortable teaching a group, but I also have ample experience working one-on-one with students. I believe that course material should engage students. I do not believe that rote memorization is practical in most real-world situations, and

As a Purdue graduate, I was the recipient of the highest level of instruction in math and science. As an undergraduate I was named on the Dean’s list six times and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In order to be granted this degree I was required to gain a great understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have been on the cutting edge of computer science from the first hand held calculators. I can program in FORTRAN, Assembly, Basic, Pascal, and C languages, on a variety of platforms. After working as an engineer for 20 years, I then pursued a teaching license and have taught High School math for the last decade. I enjoy teaching and working with all children.
