Musical is one of my top subjects! Music is my specialty. i am well versed in five different instruments, I have taken all four years of music theory, and have a comprehensive knowledge of the subject, having written and perform several compositions.

I have always been a hands on learner, so that is mostly the way i portray my lessons, by doing, instead of readin. However i also see the need in having to sit down and Get to work, because some thing are better learned on paper

I feel children are very self-aware and are very vulnerable to positive and negative feedback. Therefore, no matter how little progress is made, praise them. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught with students from the age of 6 to the age of 29 in all subjects from math and reading, to philosophy and history. I am relaxed and zealous when teaching students. I have a known record at teaching my guitar students all the basic chords within 3 lessons. I also have raised the SAT scores with every students that I tutored for the SAT's. A Little Bit About Me...

I studied education at Montclair State University for 4 years but I have a always been a teacher. From leadership roles in high school to corporate training, I have a talent for being able to boil subjects down to their basics and provide true understanding.
