I enjoy working with children, waiting for the "ah ha" moment to arrive. When it does, there is nothing, like it. I believe strongly in the saying "there are no bad students, only bad teachers". I believe that every student is capable of learning, the trick is to find a way that makes it real and applicable to each individual student. I believe that the keys to success are student motivation, the tutor's flexibility and lots of patience. My experience working with children and adults with Communication Disorders/Cognitive Deficits has provided me with an understanding and experience to assist others in many areas. I have an MS in Communication Disorders. This includes learning disabilities that involve language comprehension and expression, and problem solving deficits. I have also worked extensively with children and adults who have vocabulary deficits as a result of learning/language disabilities.
