As a motivated person, I attended UNCG as an undergraduate and graduate student while working full time. I have received both a BS and MS in Biochemistry. During my undergraduate years, I worked as an assistant in multiple lab courses. Throughout graduate school, I have taught Gen. Chem. Lab courses, which are taught in a lecture and lab setting. In both 2008 and 2009, I received awards for Outstanding Teaching based on student evaluations. Throughout my 7 years in the Chemistry Department, I have written multiple research papers and a Master’s level thesis. These numerous papers have helped me to develop my writing style and improve my grammatical skills. I have also privately tutored K-8 students in English, math, and science.

Having graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa Scholar from UNC-Chapel Hill, I have always achieved a level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor of science (B.S.) degrees in Biology and Chemistry. As a result of achieving mastery in these areas, I have tutored students in subjects such as Genetics, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics and Calculus. Through tutoring, I have learned that it helps me enrich my own knowledge about the subject matter thus, allowing me to approach concepts/problems in different ways.
