Hearing Impaired is one of my top subjects! I am a certified Hearing Itinerant Teacher with 3 years of teaching experience.

I taught for 3 years as a Hearing Itinerant Teacher in Illinois. My students ranged from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. I also taught for 1 year as a Special Education teacher in New Jersey. I taught 7th and 8th grade math. I have recently moved to Ohio and have received an Ohio Intervention Specialist and Hearing Itinerant Teaching License. My studies at Illinois State allow me to be highly qualified in Language Arts. I have also passed the Middle School Math Praxis test which makes me highly qualified in middle school math. I am in my sixth year of teaching. I am one of nine third grade teachers at Miami Trace Elementary school for Miami Trace Local Schools. Previously, I taught at Wayne Elementary. I taught first grade for one year and third grade for the two years. I attended Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. Having the chance to attend one of the largest universities in the world has truly allowed me to experience opportunties to influence young minds. I believe that all children should receive the extra help that they need. Often time in the classroom, a teacher does not have the time to give the support of the needs of each student in the classroom. Teachers and tutors should try their best to make sure they focus on individual needs of the students so that they can help them succeed.
As a recent college graduate, I feel that I have received the formal training necessary to become a teacher. I have obtained a BS in Early Childhood Education.
