I taught for 3 years as a Hearing Itinerant Teacher in Illinois. My students ranged from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. I also taught for 1 year as a Special Education teacher in New Jersey. I am in my sixth year of teaching. I am one of nine third grade teachers at Miami Trace Elementary school for Miami Trace Local Schools. Previously, I taught at Wayne Elementary. I taught first grade for one year and third grade for the two years. I attended Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. I attended The Ohio State University and got my Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a concentration in Early Childhood Development. After that I continued my education at Capital University to obtain my teaching license for PK-3 regular classroom education, as well as Intervention Specalist K-12 and a Reading Endorsment K-12.
I believe that every child should be given an equal chance to learn. If that means teaching a lesson three different ways to be sure to reach all my students, sometimes that is what it takes. Being flexible is very important in teaching, as it is important to be able to adapt to each student and each class, year to year. As a recent college graduate, I feel that I have received the formal training necessary to become a teacher. I have obtained a BS in Early Childhood Education. A Little Bit About Me...

Having the chance to attend one of the largest universities in the world has truly allowed me to experience opportunties to influence young minds. The difference in my experiences and those of others is that the experiences I come across require much more dedication and devotion simply because it is not related to my field of study. A Little Bit About Me...

I can teach many different styles to suit different learning styles. I truly believe in the mastery technique.
