Hearing Impaired is one of my top subjects! I am a certified Hearing Itinerant Teacher with 3 years of teaching experience.

I use Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) to establish motivation and classroom management. This includes breaks, class store, team competitions etc. My teaching philosophy is to meet students at their current level and push them to the next level to get them caught up with their peers. I am currently pursuing my BS degree in business management and finance. I have completed all of my math requirements and passed calculus with an "A" average. I home school my 9 year old daughter and really enjoy watching her learn and grow.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best way to teach students is by utilizing a variety of learning styles. For example, for a visual learner, diagrams and pictures should be used but in order to compliment that repeating audible explanations would be great for someone who is an auditory learner. For any learner, the amount of repeated material provides for good review for students to make connections and the material to be cemented into the human mind.
