After receiving my teaching credential from Biola University, I eagerly accepted a permanent substitute position at Mission Hills Chrisitian School. The following year, I was asked to teach science along with several other subjects in the junior high school. I thoroughly enjoyed this position for three years until the birth of our son. This included both the calculus based physics and non-calculus based physics. I also worked with an elementary teacher as part of an outreach program to bring science into the class room.
