I am currently completing my final year at Vanderbilt Law School. Over the past three years, I have taught a class and provided one-on-one tutoring for students preparing to take the LSAT. I also taught an upper level course while in grad school (it was in radio production). While I was in undergrad, I spent time tutoring elementary and middle school aged children over the internet. All together, I have helped dozens of individual students in a private setting and nearly a hundred students in the classroom. Personally, I love numbers and have always been very comfortable with math. I'm patient and understanding the complexities of accounting and the ensuing panic that it sometimes causes. In my experience the fundamental reason people need tutoring boils down to a failure to truly understand the concept of the debit and credit. I always begin by reviewing these concepts and ensuring that the student/intern fully understands the logic behind the debit and credit.
