This volunteer work is offered through the Catholic Charities arm of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. I taught in public school and private. While doing so and during summers, I tutored on my own. I got married in 1986, had three children and stayed out of the classroom for a while. I homeschooled my own children and began an ACCREDITED highschool for home schoolers. I taught and tutored all subjects. I have also worked with several learning disabled children. Currently I am a organic chemistry lecturer at a local college but I have always been an advocate of education. I have a PhD in organic chemistry and a BS in chemistry.
