A Little Bit About Me...

I love, and am passionate about teaching children of all ages. I am a mother of three, and all of them have drastically different learning styles. I believe there are ways to teach that can encourage the child in their strenghts, and weaknesses and learn how to learn by emphasizing these strengths.
I have worked a number of years in Early Childhood, Elementary level of Education, Middle School, and Special Education. I have also worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 18 years old. I have worked as both a worked as a Para-educator and a teacher in a classroom with students with behavioral disorders. I taught 6th grade math and science 2007-2008, 2008-2009 school years, I taught 5th grade.I have both a CO. Teaching License and a CA Teaching License. Both are multiple subject credentials. I love teaching with children, they can be a better people than us, if we are a good teachers for them. Every child is a great person in the future and they have potential for learning. My goal is providing the best education. I believe if we are mentors for kids, they can learn under a constructivist education.
I´ve been teaching since 10 years ago. I´ve been teaching from 1st grade to 12th grade. I was teaching stimulation with music at a special school for kids with disabilities, I was there 5 years, it was in Mexico. I worked with ADD, Autism, Asperger's, Dyslexia, and others. And my other experience was with normal kids teaching music.
