Through out my years at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I went out of my way to assist any member of my class with understanding the main ideas of key moments in history. Prior to and during my employment with Metropolitan Community College (Between 1998 and 2007) I was a volunteer tutor with non traditional students in the Adult Basic Education/General Education Development ABE/GED program of Metro community college. I love to see the proverbial light come on and the students eyes widen and they say "OH! I get it!" I've tutored a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds.
