I have been teaching in various forms for over ten years. I was a teaching assistant for four semesters in graduate school. I mentored and tutored people during my time as a Naval officer. I worked for Kaplan Inc for about a year, teaching almost all of their tests, including SAT, ACT, MCAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT. I taught mathematics and statistics at Parkland College for three years. I have multiple undergraduate research experiences in mathematics. Both of those research projects have been presented at math conferences. This ensures that each student in the class is following, or else they lose their turn to read.
