A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching in various forms for over ten years. I was a teaching assistant for four semesters in graduate school. I mentored and tutored people during my time as a Naval officer. I worked for Kaplan Inc for about a year, teaching almost all of their tests, including SAT, ACT, MCAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT. I taught mathematics and statistics at Parkland College for three years. My comments on tutoring Algebra I : Received an A in all Algebra classes, including Honors Algebra in high school, College Algebra (taken in high school, and again in 2003 while attending Millikin). I received a special honor on a project in my high school College Algebra class. I have tutored junior high and high school students in algebra, and also tutored for junior high algebra within the Decatur Public School District while working as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hill Magnet School.

I truly enjoy teaching basic physics and mathematics and have been told I am pretty good at it.
