Professional but friendly English ESOL teacher

Depending on the area we need to work, the focus of the lesson will vary, but more often my students need all four skills to develop (speaking, listening, writing and reading). I strongly believe in the communicative approach in which I'm internationally certified. I'm open to my students wishes and preferences and choose activities for lessons accordingly.
Teaching experience in class environments and one-to one is over 7 years. I'm one of those lucky ones who loves their profession! I'm a friendly but demanding tutor students feel comfortable to learn with. I also speak Russian, German, some Spanish and a little bit Italian. I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. Reading is one of my top subjects! As a Title I teaching assistant, I have spent the past 5 years teaching reading skills to small groups (no more than 6 students) and one-on-one individual teaching. Learning to read and reading comprehension are vital skills for students to master in order to excel in all areas of learning.

As an English major in Education at the University of Alabama, I took many specialized courses in writing and reading.
