Spanish is one of my top subjects!

I was Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico and have spoken English and spanish since I was young. I am currently an officer in the Army, but teaching and Spanish are my passion. I have a BA in Spanish Education, I don't have a certification because I was move to a military base as soon I graduate. Right now I'm working on my Master Degree Online, based on Spanish Curriculum. Over the years (as undergrad and graduate), I have tutored middle school and elementary age students in various subjects. I have also been a resource for undergrad and graduate health science students while serving as a graduate assistant (public health master's program). I proctored exams and held tutoring and review sessions prior to testing. I have two master's degrees, three undergraduate degrees, and experience as a paramedic, nurse, and substitute teacher.

I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. While serving in the Army, I was assigned to translate and interpret from Spanish to English for foreign students joining the Army. I translated speeches for VIP Commanders visits so that way they would understand the speech as well on every event. I tutor kids in the neighborhood in a variety of subjects. I first try to find out what is the issue the student has, and then develop a learning strategy appropriate for the student.
