I graduated with an AA Degree in Liberal Studies from Allan Hancock Community College. I then transferred to San Francisco State University where I earned my BA Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Sociology. Upon graduation, I began working as a Substitute Teacher for grades K-8 in Santa Maria, CA. I have 48 units from Hancock with 13 units of ECS.I was teaching as a preschool teacher for a private preschool while being a student. Years later I became a Classified Substitute/Temporary Educational Assistant for the Medford,Oregon School District for 6 yrs.
