The degree I completed was a Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Philosophy and Minors in English, Spanish and Music. I enjoy immensely working with beginning readers. It is so thrilling to me to see the light bulb go off in a child when they grasp a math concept or advance in their reading! I am very patient and really enjoy making it fun and attractive to learn.One of my big gifts is encouragement. I believe in a structured, organized setting for teaching. I graduated with an AA Degree in Liberal Studies from Allan Hancock Community College. I then transferred to San Francisco State University where I earned my BA Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Sociology. Upon graduation, I began working as a Substitute Teacher for grades K-8 in Santa Maria, CA.
