A Little Bit About Me...

I'm passionate about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. With my degree in geology and experiences in technology and computer arenas, I'm capable of guiding inquiry on such subjects. In addition to traditional teaching, mentoring, and volunteering from grade school computer labs to adult geology field trips, I've also coached teams such as Odyssey of the Mind (at all levels 3rd through 11th grade). My career has also taken me through technical writing, finance, and project management experiences from which many practical skills have emerged.

I give them all the tools and information needed and then try to ask questions in regard to the topic and create a more interactive environment where they can feel free to ask and participate. Some times I bring them up front to resolve mathematical problems or just for their seats to come up with the answer.
