I'm passionate about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. With my degree in geology and experiences in technology and computer arenas, I'm capable of guiding inquiry on such subjects. After graduating from St Joseph High School in Santa Maria I attended Hancock College with an Early Childhood Degree Major. I have 48 units from Hancock with 13 units of ECS.I was teaching as a preschool teacher for a private preschool while being a student. Years later I became a Classified Substitute/Temporary Educational Assistant for the Medford,Oregon School District for 6 yrs. I then became a Permanent Classified Campus Monitor and Educational Assistant as needed in the classrooms for 2yrs.During some of that time I have assisted the Special Ed teachers with students with slower learning abilities.I have assisted with acelerator reading programs and other testings on computers.I also assisted in the library and office duties.
