Enrolled in Advanced Placement for all of High School and graduating with a 3.5 GPA, I have five years of tutoring experience, students ranging from 5 years to college age. I also have experience in resume assistance, test preparation, and public speaking. I am currently in the process of getting a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Composition, as well as teaching credentials for the state of California. Most of the students who require tutoring have trouble building on previous lessons they have learned. The problem is if a student fails to learn a concept in class by the time the teacher moves on, he/she will be left behind from that point on. The job of a tutor is to find these hold ups and patch them with a customized lesson plan to fit the students learning patterns. This is what i will do and i personally promise results in under a month I've always enjoyed helping others understand mathematics. During my high school years i would voluntarily help my friends, and the classmates near me keep up with class lectures and provide them with tips to help them complete take home assignments. I substituted for 3 consecutive years in Fresno, Clovis, and Madera Unified School districts at grade levels 3-12. I received my Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the American Public University system in May, 2011, and graduated with Honors and a 4.0 GPA.
