I really like to tailor my style to each student. I also believe that when it comes to math, students often need as much help getting over their fear of math as they do with the actual concepts. I have had good experience designing science experiments and hands-on projects to help demonstrate science concepts and bring these concepts to life. I was fortunate enough to have excellent role models and caring teachers throughout my childhood and would like to pass on the attention that was shown to me.
I have earned a bachelor's degree from one of the most well regarded institutions in the world and I have a solid math and science background. I worked as an assistant preschool teacher for a little over 2 years.I worked with two year olds mostly, but the children ranged from infants to K level. I was responsible for supervising and assisting in teaching a classroom of 20 two year olds.
I am very patient and detailed teacher. I go step by step when trying to teach a child how to do something. I don't skip steps. If they still don't understand, I don't go on to the next part of the lesson. I make sure they know and understand how to do the first part before I go onto the second part. Also I make things as simple as possible, complexing a subject doesn't do any good when it comes to teaching.

As a special education teaching assistant I have tutored every level of education with the exception of adults. I am Cpr and first aid certified, as well as CPI certified. I tutored in ELL for two years in all basic educatiion subjects. I am currently employed by Marana High School/Special Educaation. I haave tutored math, english, science, social studies, and computer educaation.
