Accounting is one of my top subjects! Accounting and finance are inter-related disciplines focused on auditing, preparing, monitoring and reconciling accounts to make sure the financial statements accurately reflect the true condition of the company at the time. It is very important to follow high ethical and integrity standards, to give management the ability to accurately respond to the needs of the company.

I have worked in several different types of industries from hotels, restaurants, travel, mortgage companies, transportation, banks, theater, real estate and other primarily service businesses. Most of my interests lie in the financial and accounting parts of these businesses because of the importance of not only being able to present an accurate picture of the company's condition at only one time, but also to make sure that there were no mistakes, thefts being covered up, or other discrepancies. Very large companies have had loans go bad due to the improper accounting of transactions by the business owners.
My teaching style needs to respond to the needs of the individual. There are several styles of learning so I need to understand the individual to best know how to teach them the skills they need to pass the course.

As a special education teaching assistant I have tutored every level of education with the exception of adults. I am Cpr and first aid certified, as well as CPI certified. I tutored in ELL for two years in all basic educatiion subjects. I am currently employed by Marana High School/Special Educaation. I haave tutored math, english, science, social studies, and computer educaation.

I would describe my teaching style as one of "mentoring". I believe in the "sustainability" of learning. Learning continues for all of our lives and on all levels. I believe that everyone can learn.
