I have worked with children from pre-k through 6th grade. I am a full time student at UTSA, so I believe these challenging classes will help me be able to help you get a clear understanding. I have tutored many students when I was in high school. I have also taught young children for the past four years. My approach to teaching will be using real life problems. I believe that if you can understand the problem in a real life situations then you can apply it. Depending on the age I will make sure and teach on that level. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area.
