A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate years, I was tutoring a local grade 4 student in math. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience in making a difference in somebody's life. During the last 15 years in my career, I have always been involved in training/teaching/mentoring individuals whether it is a new computer system or helping my direct staff to grow to their full potential.
My style is to teach a concept during the one on one session with me. I then give them homework to reinforce the learning on personal time. In the following meeting I revise what we learnt in previous session to ensure they understood before proceeding to next topic. I work with students with different learning styles (pictures, words and numbers) and will adapt to their needs. I am patient and will explain numerous times, in different ways, to ensure learning.

My name is Qiqi Peng. I am a current graduate of University of California, Berkeley and a past graduate of Modesto Junior College. I just earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in May 2009 at UC Berkeley. I also had an Associate of Art degree in Chemistry and Behavioral & Social Science in Aug 2007 at Modesto Junior College.
