I changed careers and joined a private wealth management firm, educating affluent investors as to which investments vehicles best fit their objectives. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach individual or group lessons. At college of the Desert, I had a reputation for being an easy going with a lot of patience when tutoring. My teaching philosophy is to listen to the student and to focus in his or hers needs. I use scientific or graphic calculators when needed. Also, I use computer software to accelerate their learning experience.
I have been in school the last 10 years. I earned two Liberal Arts degrees in 2005. I also earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona in 2009. I am a person that is driven by the joy you get when a student finally understand something they didn't think they could. I am a teacher that will change my approach depending on the student and I will not stop until I am sure that they "get it". A Little Bit About Me...

As a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, I worked with local youth in a Fijian village over the course of two years. I created a study groups based on education level and subject matter for the young adults living in the community. I focused lessons on English reading and comprehension, effective writing skills, algebra, calculus, and basic science. Working with youth from another culture and in a foriegn language forced me to gain strong interpersonal skills, innovative ways to tutor students, and the patience to work with students to achieve their academic goals.
