I am not a 'stand and lecture' type of teacher. Students learn best by trying math skills by themselves or working with other students. I use web math applets frequently and math video clips which appeals to the digital-native students of today. This year I taught math at Community of Peace Charter school in St. Paul, MN. I taught 3 sections of 8th grade math to a very diverse student population.
