A good description of my teaching style sould be very descriptive, and easy to follow. I break down the math into a series of steps, and practice them until they are mastered. For the students that have already decided that they hate math, I try to excite them with topics that they can relate to, such as sports, or cooking. We both make compromises, and I offer treats, or other incentives.
In high school I served as a big sister, and that's when I gained my passion for kids, and the importance of educating others. That experience led me to apply for a service scholarship which I earned to attend Florida State University.
