ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!

Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.
I have been a self-employed Tutor since April, 2006. Special needs and home schooled students are welcomed. Nothing makes me happier than when I see the smiles on the faces of my students when they succeed rather than fail. I assist all students in skill building and creating a life-long love of learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I love children and watching their eyes light up when understanding a certain subject brings joy to my heart. I enjoy supporting self-discovery in students as I have seen how encouraging it has been for me. To solve a problem which seems at first impossible is so energizing, it can create in a student an intrinsic interest in learning that we as teachers look to impart. That fire is what I work for in teaching.
