A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching experience began during high school when I would help out at my church's Sunday School providing remedial services like handing out papers. Since then I have earned a bachelor's degree in finance and economics with ambitions to earn a PhD. During my undergraduate experience I tutored beginning accounting students for a couple hours a week aside from the usual work of helping classmates. Upon graduation I began looking other ways to continue teaching. About 10 months ago I began volunteering at a community center. There I partnered with another gentleman to teach English as a language to immigrants. It was so much that I decided to make this a weekly ritual. As a Supervisor, and later as Safety Trainer, for the Phone Company, I was called on to present and educate employees of the Phone Company (QWEST) 1970 - 2001. Topics ranged from general safety to technical applications specific to jobs within the company. After retirement from the Phone Company, I began teaching photography to Real Estate professionals, with a MN Department of Commerce approval (course #1003818). I've been a Professional Photographer since 2003.
