I designed and taught a first-ever prekindergarten program at St. Anne School in Somerset, WI. I also directed and taught children's programs with the YMCA for children age birth through prekindergarten, having received the YMCA Focus Award for Excellence in Children's Programs. I directed the marketing and campaign programs for a school, which allowed me to utilize my expertise in writing, finances, community relations, as well as written and verbal communication. A Little Bit About Me...

As cliché as this sounds - my favorite part of teaching is the satisfaction of knowing I made a difference. I have interacted with individuals across countless backgrounds and understand the idea of each student needing to hear things in their own terms. The simple concept penetrates through my patient teaching style. Some of my favorite ways to connect with students is to create simple analogies using subjects which interest them. I am a licensed MN French teacher. I speak near-native French. I taught ELL to French children and adults in Paris for 4 years, and in the US have taught ELL and French to kids from the ages of 5-18, and also have taught adults in community education programs. I am happy to work with your student to target speaking, writing, memorizing vocabulary, understanding grammar... I offer the advantage of being a native English speaker first.
