I believe that most elementary students benefit from hands on learning and visuals to make connections with learning. These may be implemented through technology or conventional methods. Along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, I have many educational experiences in the area of science, math, history (to name a few). And in all levels of the educational process; from elementary through high school and even collegiate. My previous experience has included high school students and many college undergrads.

Writing is one of my top subjects! I have had substantial training in the area of writing. These include Summer Writing Institutes, writing workshop, and career Professional Development.

I am a "hands-on" approach teacher. Often educators think students are grasping the concept when they are really just hearing, not listening.
I taught from the year 2000-2013 in Gwinnett County Public Schools. 2013-2014 tried Georgia Pre-K; which I enjoyed but was unable to live on the salary. I moved to a charter school and discovered that was not the place for me. I am now in Fulton County and love it. I have had the opportunity to meet amazing staff and students, making my job a pleasure to come to. In the 2015-2016 school year I will be teaching Interrelated Special Education in 4th and 5th grade.
