I've been playing saxophone for 8 years. I am a student at the Kennesaw State University School of Music. I was a state finalist in the Governors Honors Program for Saxophone. I have been in the Georgia District 12 honor bands for four years. I have been a state finalist for the Georgia All-State Band and All-State Jazz Band. I also play at The Velvet Note jazz club on Thursday nights.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I believe that I am competent in various areas of biology and chemistry, and will be able to convey that competence. I have taught and tutored at my church and in other volunteer programs since high school. I also currently give drum lessons at a Stephen's Music Company.
I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

Science, and in particular, Biology, has always been a passion of mine. It is my professional goal to increase the science literacy level for my community by sharing my experiences and knowledge with students at the high school level. In addition to completing the course work required to obtain a Biology Education degree, I have taught in a pilot school for a standard based curriculum in which units were presented in nine-week segments, allowing for quarterly benchmark assessment of student achievement.
