I have taught children for over 20 years, including my own two children and grandchildren. I love teaching and working with children and their parents. I have received a number of awards in my Professional life as well as my social activities in my community. I also founded and started a business (Rainbow Consulting Services) in 2005. I used this business to promote literacy to children grades Pre-K-5th grades. I have a number of other topic I promote including health literacy, money management, summer reading camps and other helpful referrals. I believe that we all can learn and are life time learners. My teaching style depends on the student, but I like to use demonstrations, work through a problem instead of giving a problem, and I use visual learning methods (pictures and examples) I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013. I then moved to Georgia and I am currently working through my application process to Columbus State University. I did a lot of volunteer work during high school and was involved in many things, ranging from two years in ROTC to becoming a Student Ambassador for the "People to People" program.
