I hold an honor's degree in marine biology and a masters degree in marine renewable energy. I have a strong scientific background performing environmental studies and development of marine tidal energy developments. I have previously privately tutored young adults from 12-18 years old. Depending on the age of child but especially thinking of biology and chemistry classes I think it is valuable to teach the person how to create different activities with the subject matter to learn the material. My experience as a non-traditional student has payed huge dividends not only for me, but for those I've helped during my time as a T.A. and tutor.
