Drawing is one of my top subjects! Drawing has been - and will continue to be - my lifelong passion. I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2010 with an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts, and I am highly experienced in various types of media. I am also an experienced tutor, and I have a great desire to share what I have learned with others.

I take a very hands-on approach when instructing my pupils. I encourage them to practice the techniques they learn from me as I am teaching them, as opposed to having them sit through a lecture and complete assignments afterward. This enables them to learn at their own pace, and has been proven to successfully increase both their productivity and their desire to create.
I have been drawing my entire life, and have successfully completed numerous high school- and college-level art courses pertaining to my major in Fine Arts. Dedicated, patient, caring and knowledgeable are all the characteristcs that I would want in a tutor. Those are definitely characteristics that describe me. I have worked with children for the past 12 years in settings from private, public and special needs population. I enjoy working with children and teaching. My teaching style varies based on the child that I am working with that time. I have worked with children with all different kinds of learning styles, so I have learned over the years that you have to be flexible and mindful of the specific child that you are working with. Through my experience I have learned to be more patient, understanding and fair when I am working with the children as well as when I am grading their assignments. During the time that I worked with tutoring companies, I was able to tutor students at their homes as well as on the weekends in a school based setting.
