I've been playing piano for almost 12 years, taking lessons for about 10 years. I've taught a few students in my lifetime--with different level ranges (from beginner to more advanced levels). Back when I was still competing, I've only played 1st and 2nd in all my competitions, nothing less. A few years back, I outgrew all my competitors in my level and was not allowed to compete anymore, so I became one of the judges in the competition.
