15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad. I was educated at "Ivy League" level schools and purposefully educated myself in a large variety of the humanities, which in essence all tie together. Basic courses up through most High School material outside of the Humanities are not difficult. Actually, while my education has been primarily in the Humanities, the material I see the most in tutoring is Algebra and Geometry!

I am the type of tutor that gives basic instructions, then I allow the student to try a few things on their own. If they struggle, then I will step in and help them. I prefer to go over the same material as much as needed until the student is comfortable with the subject matter. Then, I like to move on to a new subject.
