Teaching is so rewarding, there's nothing better than helping someone understand something they have struggled with in the past. I am a very patient person who loves to work with people. I also enjoy helping people overcome challenges. For example: when I worked at the accounting office my specialty was dealing with clients who had or have issues with the IRS. It was my favorite part of the job, especially when the issue was resolved! My teaching style is different for different people, everyone learns differently. The trick is to help people figure out the best way for them to catch on and retain the information. After finishing my masters I hope to teach at the high school or college level.

I have worked in the area of accounting for over 25 years. I worked my way through college while working a fulltime job and completed my degree in 2003 with enough hours to sit for the CPA exam for which I am currently studying. My work background has included all facets of the accounting industry. While completing my final few classes, I worked as a bookkeeper for one of the local accounting firms. Once my degree was completed I accepted a staff accountant position. Currently, I am employed with the State of Alabama as a Unemployment Compensation Field Deputy.
