Guitar is one of my top subjects! I have extensive studies in classical and jazz guitar, as well as musical composition. I performed professionally on guitar, keyboards, and electric bass. I also have an MM degree in music.

When working with students one-on-one, I try to find out exactly where the next step needed for the student to progress would be, and then work to achieve an understanding of the foundational material that needs to be understood and applied to achieve success, and then move on from there.
As a Spanish teacher, I have an MA in Spanish, and have worked as a Spanish teacher at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. I have additionally worked as a Spanish translator and interpreter in the legal, academic, and medical areas. I know the value of knowing more than one language, as I have traveled in many different parts of the world, and have personally experienced the benefits of being able to communicate with people in their own language when travelling.
