As a graduate of Bowling Green State University's Master of Education program, I have always had a passion for working with students in both a school and counseling setting. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, which enabled me gain employment as a Crisis Hotline Phone Attendant and a Behavioral Specialist in a Children's Home for troubled and at risk youth. In addition to completing the Masters program, I also earned my school counseling license. My school counseling internship gave me the opportunity to teach students with a variety of diffent learning styles. It is important to stay creative in the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience as an art, social studies, and language arts educator would be a benefit to your company. I have mentored and taught school age, middle school and high school students, collaboration techniques when creating artwork, set designs, literature projects, and social studies assignments. As a therapeutic program worker I worked with mildly to severely challenged individuals. I have nurtured and taught those in my care while maintaining a safe and healthy living environment for those needing more individualized attention.
I have workie with students from grades k-8, and I have tutored adults seekeing GED preparation in language arts. I use charecter maps and art in relation to one another as visual aids to help students put mental ideas of how sentences are formed.
