I transferred from a 2 year community college in Harriman, TN known as Roane State Community College. Tutoring is one of the most challenging, but rewarding, endeavors that I have undertaken. Each student has a unique learning style; as a tutor, I must determine which style the student favors and then modify the subject matter in a way most suited to the student’s understanding. A Little Bit About Me...

Try to customize to students intrest in order to keeep attention and make as entertaining as possible. Every child sees things from different eyes. I just teach them how to look. I know that as a student I would hear one explanation that all of a sudden made things so clear and seem so simple. I try to find this for every individual student.
I have helped students from my church for the past eight years in math science and english. I have also worked with my sisters first grade students in math. I enjoy working with youth. It is extremely rewarding to watch a child when that " i get moment" happens and their face lights up with pride, happiness and a sense of accomplishment.
