I have been teaching piano in France for 4 years, and now 1 year in the U.S. I have never taught French but now my level in English is getting better, I would be able to teach French without problems. I have been involved in various aspects of teaching and tutoring for the past 14 years. I love teaching all ages, but have experience working with college freshman. I believe that these students are at an age where they need to realize their dreams and need help to gain confidence within themselves. My strong point is within Math, but also comprehension. Written words and puzzles are not always easily understood. Some people need facts to help them learn or examples. I have worked with college students in the past, working with comprehensive learning and mathematics. I learned that each student understands in their own personal way; some learn by seeing something concrete and for others it is working through the steps in the problem that helps them understand.
