This serves both you and me very well because I like what I do and you get the knowledge you're seeking. I can always understand a student's individual needs because I have been around such a large variety of learning styles. Also, I believe that a "set" lesson plan is worthless for English because who's to say that everyone with a specific problem is not understanding it for the same reason?
