Experience Summary
I have taught in Dearborn Public Schools for 34 + years, 32 of which were in grades 9-12. I truly enjoy the process of teaching and watching students improve. Lack of confidence is often the cause of low achievement. I concentrate not only on self-image and confidence, but on ACTUALLY IMPROVING SKILLS so the student's confidence will come from within, not from mere positive re-inforcement, but from actually experiencing their own growth. I love to teach writing skills, reading improvement/comprehension, grammar, and all aspects of English language arts. Teaching for me is more than a job; it's a calling.
