Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

During my time at North Carolina State University I gained both teaching and tutoring experience. I spent one semester as the lead lab instructor for a classroom of 30 undergraduates. My duties included teaching students how to implement experimental design methods using statistical software. I also spent a year as a statistical consultant for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Aside from these formal positions I also served as a private tutor. The students I worked with ranged from those in high school taking AP Calculus, to undergraduates taking introductory or upper-level statistics courses.
