I am firm but like to use students life experiences and hobbies to teach them subjects. Younger students I like to teach through play due to the fact that I am a firm believer that children learn through play. I have been studying education since my high school graduation in hopes of one day being the choir director at my high school.At the moment I am a student at UTEP studying bilingual elementary education and plan to receive a masters in music education after receiving my bachelors degree. I worked as substitute teacher for the Denver Public Schools during my senior year of university. I have also worked and certified as instructor in the US Army in several fields to include math and science. No two people are alike, so my teaching style is to find out what a person's style of understanding is, and to frame my teaching around that.
