I have served as a guidance counselor in middle schools for almost forty years and retired in December, 2013. During the last twelve years, I have tutored students in math in groups and individually. I enjoy using incentives and finding ways to make concepts relative in the student's actual life experiences. I still hold a valid Florida certificate. I enjoy using a variety of techniques with my students. I have been working with kids of all ages for a long time. I love to see them learn and grow. That moment when they "get" something is magical!
