Experience Summary
I have served as a guidance counselor in middle schools for almost forty years and retired in December, 2013. During the last twelve years, I have tutored students in math in groups and individually. I enjoy using incentives and finding ways to make concepts relative in the student's actual life experiences. I still hold a valid Florida certificate.
Teaching Style
I enjoy using a variety of techniques with my students. We play games, use various software programs, and other helpful one on one devices to assist students in understanding and remembering concepts.
My Hobbies
Reading, water sports, and gardening are my most frequent hobbies. I occasionally play the piano, attend plays, and paint.
