I like to make teaching fun! If a student is bored they aren't going to be putting 100% into their work. I also use a positive reward system and celebrate all achievement. Even if it is minor.

I received my BS in 1978 and my continuing certificate 3 years later. I have worked with youth(6th grade-12th grade) in a classroom setting. I have also worked with adult learners to re-train them for the workplace. Another population of students I have worked with were imprisoned youth aged 13-21.
